Carbon Capture Engineer | CCS Energy

What is CCS?

The urgent need for heavy industry to reduce CO2 emissions has seen the rise of carbon capture engineers, dedicated to developing an abundance of emerging ‘green’ technologies, including carbon capture and storage (CCS) and geothermal energy.

Widely accepted as a critical technology in meeting the goals set out in the 2015 Paris Climate Agreement, carbon capture engineering involves capturing carbon emissions before they enter the atmosphere, then transporting and storing them safely underground well into the future.

Efficient and Economically Viable | CCS Energy

Efficient and economically viable

CCS also presents significant commercial advantages.

Our partners may be able to extend the life of carbon-producing infrastructure while working towards a net-zero emissions target – ultimately improving NPV on existing infrastructure while reducing emissions.

Our clients may also realise additional value from their assets through carbon offset mechanisms available through various global emission trading schemes.

A team of CCS Experts

At CCS Energy, our expert CCS and well engineers are passionate about identifying efficient and cost-effective transition technology to capture and store carbon, and reduce your operation’s carbon footprint.

With years of technical experience in the petroleum industry, our team can provide all aspects of technical design, project management and regulatory administration.

Aidan Bettridge | Engineering Director | CCS Energy
